Golan Wins Biggest Title In Winnipeg Spain's Borja Golan celebrated the biggest squash title of his career when he upset top seed Laurens Jan Anjema in the final of the Winnipeg Building and Decorating Ltd Manitoba Open, the PSA World Tour International 35 event in its ninth successive year at Winnipeg Squash Racquet Club in Winnipeg, Canada.
 
Title favourite Cornett resisted the hour-long challenge from national teammate to claim the Montreal Open 2012.  World No42 Sam Cornett won her third WSA title after a 60-minute battle against national rival Miranda Ranieri. Both players had put in strong performances on their way to the final.  Cornett’s semi final match was forced to four against Kristen Lange of the USA, but had otherwise looked untroubled throughout the event, whilst Ranieri was yet to lose a game in the WSA $5k Montreal Open
 
Simpson Retains Bankers Hall Club Crown A masterful performance by Chris Simpson in the Talisman Energy Bankers Hall Club Pro Am saw the Englishman successfully retain the Canadian title after breezing through the established PSA World Tour Challenger 10 squash event at the Bankers Hall Club in Calgary without dropping a game.
 
2014 Women's World Team Championship Awarded To Canada The World Squash Federation (WSF) formally announced today that the 2014 WSF Women's World Team Squash Championship has been awarded to Canada. The event will take place at White Oaks Conference Resort & Spa (The Club at White Oaks) in Niagara-on-the-Lake, Ontario, from 1-6 December 2014.
